The WOK STORY In China during the scarcity of rice every one was allowed only two rice bowls a day so that everyone gets to have a meal, in fact, it was punishable if anyone rice kernel was left in the bowl they use to add the gravy or a bit of soup at the end so each rice kernel is consumed and before each meal, they were supposed to make a pray to thank God for the meal and were made to remember that to grow rice how many hardships the farmer has to go through and the scarcity of rice in the country. This concept was modernized in the 1800s when some Chinese army generals with huge immigrants moved to the United States.
